Happy Thanksgiving to all our Friends and Family. Just wanted to update our blog. No news this week, but we know who is in control. God has a plan for us and we are going to follow. Please keep your eyes and ears open for any potential adoptions for us.

God will direct our paths if we allow him to do so.

“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” – 1 John 5:14-15 KJV

Hello Family and Friends:

"God is working. God is in control."  That has been on my mind all week. Our preacher gave us a challenge this week. He said I challenge you this week to give it all to God. That is easier said than done but I am trying my best and I am seeing results not only in our life ,but our Family and Friends life's. I really don't think that they realize sometimes that something that we have prayed about for so long the prayer was answered. It may not be what we expected it to be but "God is working. God is in control."

Thank you so much for reading our blog and leaving us such sweet comments and kind words. God is so good. Even when we don't see him working he is working. God is an on time God. Just to give you an update on our Adoption Journey we are still praying and believing that God will open that special door for us. We have received One phone call and two emails about (3) potential adoptions In the past week. We have learned not to get our hopes up, but to pray daily for it to be in Gods will. It is very exciting to get those phone calls and or emails and you want to shout it from the roof tops. We have a specific prayer that we pray everyday that I have shared with some and it is so special to us.

We have waited so long for this child of choice.
Bless Us
With and Abundance of your love
That we may be good parents,
That we may create a home of blessing,
That we may encourage this child to the
Fullness of his/her potential.
Bless our Children, O God
Give them security in our family
The joy of laughter in our home,
And the courage to face the challenges ahead.
Let our children know the love
We feel so deeply for them
And let this love be a strength to
Confront the opportunities of life.
Amen.

It is a Beautiful prayer that was emailed to us. I have shared with other friends and family that have adopted, and or looking to adopt.

Please continue to remember us in prayer and please keep your eyes and ears open for any potential adoptions for us. But most of all please remember those Birth Mother and Birth Fathers out there that are making these courageous decisions to Bless a family with a child or children.
